The "Hello Industrie 4.0" exhibition stand, designed by Weiskind GmbH, is a testament to the transformative power of networked production landscapes and digitization. The design concept is a disruptive transformation, symbolizing the networking idea of the Internet of Things. The polygonal outer skin of the booth is inspired by a networked structure, reflecting the future of industry.
Displayed at the world's largest industrial show, the booth is a highly visible, futuristic exhibition structure. Inside, visitors are taken on a journey into networked production landscapes and changing work environments. The thematic areas throughout the brand environment exude and bring to life the spirit of a thought leader and trailblazer for Industrie 4.0.
The stand is a modular concept, allowing it to be modified and displayed at various fairs. The design is sustainable, following the journey to further international destinations. The technical specifications are kept in the international KUKA Fair Toolbox, including details from the polygonal roof to the circumferential light bar.
Visitors can interact with the stand at all stations, experiencing technological progress made by KUKA. They can also experience a virtual tour, showing how Industry 4.0 is being implemented in the automotive industry. The stand demonstrates how everyday life will change, with robots taking orders via smartphones and serving coffee ordered via the cloud.
The project started in 2015 and was first exhibited in Hanover, Germany, in April 2016. Further developments of the stand were realized in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The design was awarded Platinum in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019, recognizing its world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative design.
The "Hello Industrie 4.0" stand is a testament to Weiskind GmbH's commitment to innovation and design. It is a visionary design that pushes the boundaries of technology and design, contributing to societal wellbeing and making the world a better place.
